The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) participates in International Roadcheck, a yearly program that lasts 72 hours and consists of high-visibility, high-volume commercial motor vehicle inspection and enforcement.
Commercial motor vehicle inspectors in Canada, Mexico and the U.S. will conduct inspections of commercial motor vehicles and drivers at weigh and inspection stations, on roving patrols, and at temporary inspection sites, May 17-19, 2022.
This year’s International Roadcheck will focus on wheel ends. Wheel end component violations from previous International Roadcheck events counted for about one quarter of the vehicle out-of-service violations discovered by inspectors. They have also been identified as a top 10 vehicle violation during International Roadcheck.
The goal of International Roadcheck is to ensure all vehicles are operated safely so that all drivers make it home safely. At RDO Truck Centers, safety is a priority for our team members and our customers.
For drivers that need inspections, our Service Department performs Federal DOT Inspections. If you are looking for parts, give your nearest location a call and our parts specialists are happy to help.
